The Treasury Watchdog’s main function is to prevent funds from being maliciously withdrawn from treasury accounts controlled by the Ecosystem Assembly. A Treasury Watchdog proposal to prevent such a withdrawal must be undertaken before or during the 1-day lockup period of the malicious Ecosystem Assembly proposal

Prevent Malicious EVM Updates

The EVM Emergency Assembly has the power to prevent updates to the EVM that are suspected to be malicious. This is done by transferring ownership of EVM to EVM Emergency Assembly. Older Assembly becoming defunct.

Pay for Vulnerabilities

To encourage the discovery of vulnerabilities in the Neon EVM code, the Bug Bounty Committee distributes rewards for people who uncover genuine bugs or problems with the codebase. These funds are stored in the Bug Bounty Treasury and are distributed pending approval by the Committee.
